Watch Scott Walker Handle A Heckler In The BEST Way Possible; Gets Thunderous Applause

Scott Walker enjoyed a standing ovation at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday. Walker was energetically received by the year’s largest gathering of conservatives.

“Up there in Washington, we have a president who measures success by how many people are dependent on the government,” Walker told CPAC. “There’s a reason we celebrate the Fourth of July and not April 15, because in America we celebrate our independence from the government and not our dependence on it.”

The Wisconsin Governor is seen as a likely 2016 presidential candidate, and polls indicate he is ahead of the pack in early primary states like Iowa.
Walker proudly cited his record of battling public unions in Wisconsin, cutting the state’s unemployment in half, and reducing that state’s tax burden by over $2 billion. The message is one well received by conservatives.
“I’m proud to tell you that today our state is better,” he said. ”In our state, we don’t have seniority or tenure anymore. We can hire and fire based on merit. We can put the best and brightest in our classrooms and we can keep them there.”
Walker spent most of his time touting his own record. But he did take a couple shots at President Obama.

“We need a president who recognizes that radical Islamic terrorism is a threat to our way of life and all freedom loving people around the world,” the governor said. “We need to take the fight to them and not wait for them to bring the fight to our soil for our children and our grandchildren.”

Watch as Scott Walker handles a lone heckler in the best way possible:
Walker has said only that he is exploring the possibility of a presidential run. However, it’s still a bit too early for formal announcements. If Walker does indeed run, he will undoubtedly be a formidable candidate and a front runner for the party nomination.
