Ever since House Speaker John Boehner’s invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to come and speak to a joint session of Congress, the White House has been very unhappy.
President Obama has warned Netanyahu that coming right now would be detrimental to the secret ongoing arms talks with Iran.
But, given the President’s constant “cold shoulder” to Netanyahu and Israel in general, this isn’t surprising.  The Obama Administration has done much to damage U.S./ Israeli relations over the past six years.

However, the U.S. Senate has just done something that will have them all howling at the White House.  The Conservative Tribune reports:

The Senate unanimously passed a resolution welcoming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak before a joint session of Congress.
No Democrat senators sponsored the resolution but none caved to reported pressure from the White House to vote against it.
The Tribune reveals the exact wording on the resolution:
“The Senate warmly welcomes the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, on his visit to the United States,” the resolution reads, “which provides a timely opportunity to reinforce the United States-Israel relationship.”
The resolution goes on to vow that the U.S. will “strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself from threats to its very survival.”
This is a huge slap in the face of the Obama Administration given the fact that they have been doing everything they can to stop Netanyahu from speaking to Congress.
The amazing thing about this resolution is the fact that it was unanimous.  Even though no Democrats helped sponsor it, all voted for it in the end.
Netanyahu’s speech is likely to criticize the Obama Administration’s handling of nuclear arms talks with Iran.  Israel has vowed to not allow Iran to get nuclear weapons of their own since Israel would likely be the first target of such weapons.
President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry are seen as soft and compromised with Iran; secretly wanting to allow them to develop their own nukes.
Also problematic for the President is the fact that Netanyahu is a powerful speaker with much American support.  His speech will most likely have broad appeal in America and make Obama look weaker on foreign policy; an area the President is already weak in promoting.

Who knows what the Obama machine may try next to derail Netanyahu’s speech.  They are already working behind the scenes in Israel to defeat him in his re-election.  Their stenographers in the media have been relentless in their criticisms and warnings about Netanyahu’s visit.
But, “Bibi” is undeterred.  He is a true patriot of Israel and will do whatever is necessary to promote and defend his homeland.  Perhaps that is a lesson Prime Minister Netanyahu could teach President Obama!

From what I read, he was a wonderful, intelligent person and an awesome role model. A REAL Jew! He was one of my heroes when I was still a crotch dropping. I saw him at the Oakland Star Trek convention in the 1970s. He was also real easy on the eyes in his day.

  2. Honeytrapped to a man/woman.

  3. Wanna know why Israel will never become a US state? Because then they'd only have two senators rather than one hundred.

  4. Put Netanyahu in the cell next to his friend Pollard the second he steps out of his plane. Netanyahu received American citizenship during his study years at MIT and has never renounced it. Netanyahu is a "DUAL Citizen" which means he sucks up the BENEFITS of being an American but he is LOYAL only to Israel. He must be arrested for TREASON to America,. Israel set the PRECEDENT of kidnapping with Eichmann ....so the FBI/CIA should go grab Netanyahu out of Israel or anywhere he HIDES.
Report: Netanyahu may have leaked US secrets to hurt Iran negotiations
US officials believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has authorized his government to release secret details of the US nuclear negotiations with Iran to the Israeli press, according to Washington Post columnist David Ignatius.
The alleged leaks would appear designed to undermine the negotiations, which Israel opposes. In response, according to Ignatius, the US has decided to "reduce the exchange of sensitive information about the Iran talks" with Israel.
And BTW, what makes Netanyahu's testimony to a joint session of Congress next week so dangerously inflammatory, that this will be done in a closed session of Congress, so that the American people do not have the right to hear what the man has to say, and judge for themselves?!?

Leaked cables from Israel’s intelligence agency reveal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu misled the United Nations about Iran’s nuclear program. In Sept. 2012, Netanyahu stood before the UN General Assembly with a cartoonish diagram of a bomb and warned that Iran was about a year away from completing its “plans of building a nuclear weapon,” calling for action to halt the process and justifying Israel’s rights to act militarily if necessary. “By next spring, at most by next summer, at current enrichment rates, they will have finished the medium enrichment and move[d] on to the final stage,” Netanyahu told the U.N. “From there, it’s only a few months, possibly a few weeks before they get enough enriched uranium for the first bomb.” But in Oct. 2012, Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad sent a top-secret cable to South Africa’s state security agency saying that the Islamic Republic was “not performing the activity necessary to produce weapons and doesn’t appear to be ready to enrich Uranium to the higher levels needed to the nuclear bomb,” according a secret cable obtained by Al Jazeera and shared with the Guardian.
Israel has been spying, selling Our secrets to our enemies and generally stabbing America inthe back for too long. .........USS LIBERTY ----- Rachel Corrie ------- Johnathan Pollard ----- 135 Mossad operatives were detained after 9/11 and deported to Israel. Israel had sole interest and opportunity in 9/11. ------------ 60+ years living off American WELFARE

  5. American Taxpayers give $4BILLION a year to Israel. How much of YOUR $4 BILLION is coming back to America as BRIBES to "your" politicians? The Stooges that fall all over themselves putting Israel's interests AHEAD of America!

  6. There's nothing wrong with someone presenting an argument, as long as the other side gets equal time, which Iran never will! That is the problem here- the total covering up and distortion of truth and the cherry-picking of "data" that favors the prosecution of war. If America is to be fair before the world, then invite an Iranian rep to give their side of the story to the American people, which deserve the truth and never get it! When another side to a debate is blocked out, you have to conclude that that side is the TRUTHFUL side. Then again, if the American people DID have the truth and clamored for it more than they do now, there would NEVER be wars because wars are based on lies and distortions! Let Iran state its case before America or just tell Netanyahu and his warmongering filth to shut the f*%^ up!!!
