Dad's Reply To School On Kids' Absence Will Remind You What Learning Is All About

Mike Rossi brought his family to Boston for a once in a lifetime opportunity; to watch him run the Boston Marathon and experience Boston for five days.  Unfortunately, his children's school did not believe this was a worthwhile reason to miss school and sent Mr. and Mrs. Rossi a letter stating this is an unexcused absence.

"Abington School District does not recognize family trips as an excused absence..."


The Rossi children missed three days of school which consisted of standardized testing!

 Mike asked for people's thoughts - and they came rushing in:
  Something tells me this was a worth while trip.
