See How Much A US Hospital Charges To Treat A Rattlesnake Bite

If you ever get bit by a rattlesnake you better hope you don't have to get treated for it in a US hospital. A bill like this could break your bank.

Never forget that human greed and a lust for profits is what screwed up the health care system. As a result, the only people who can afford decent health care are the very wealthy.

  4. I understand that a good hospital ER is expensive to run, but, $39,000 for the rooms? Did they fly the serum in by helicopter?

Back in 1974 I was in a house fire and went to the ER. I had smoke inhalation and was treated with oxygen and nothing else. The bill I received was for $600 (a small fotune in 1974). No xrays, no nothing to jack up the bill like lab wok . I ignored the bill until they went away back under the rock they came from
